Test Method:
(1) Referring to IEC 62321-5:2013, the content of cadmium was determined by ICP-OES;
(2) Referring to IEC 62321-5:2013, the content of lead was determined by ICP-OES;
(3) Referring to IEC 62321-4:2013, the content of mercury was determined by ICP-OES;
(4) Referring to IEC 62321:2008, the content of hexavalent chromium was determined by Point Test / UVVis Spectrophotometer.

Remarks:
(1) The maximum allowable limit is quoted from the directive 2011/65/EU appendix II.
(2) Point Test Method: negative = hexavalent chromium not detected, positive = hexavalent chromium detected (when point test results are negative or cannot be determined, boiling water extraction method will be used for further validation).
(3) Boiling Water Extraction Method: negative = hexavalent chromium not detected, positive = hexavalent chromium detected; showed the concentration of hexavalent chromium on 50 cm² superficial area bytested sample is equal to or greater than 0.02 mg/kg in boiling water extract. Since the storage conditions and production date of the sample were not known, the hexavalent chromium test result of the sample could only represent the condition of the sample containing hexavalent chromium during the test.
