China Auto Association responded to EU¡¯s anti-dumping on China¡¯s aluminum wheels

(China Aluminum Network) Today China Automobile Association responded EU’s preliminary results of anti-dumping of China aluminum wheels: the ruling of European Commission destroyed the good development trend of automobile industry between China and EU, also insulted Chinese auto manufacturers and customers. China Automobile Association said they would keep complaints authority through WTO trade dispute mechanisms.

China Automobile Association said due to Eu and Amerian oppression of RMB appreciation, the final ruling on Chinese aluminum wheels is typical trade protectionism. CAA said:

1. European Commission don’t recognize China’s market economy status and also ignore the real situation of aluminum wheel industry in China’s market.
2. With no enough analysis, European Commission identified that aluminum wheel price was low due to government subsidies, which is quite unreasonable.

3. In the case, Chinese exports only accounted for 11% of market share, but only through estimation European Commission considered the future expectation that China would increase price b monopoly, which is an analysis with no facts. 

4. International exchange of auto industry is inevitable trend, and to impede communication do no good to both sides.

5. It is obvious China’s manufacturing has brought benefits to global consumers. Global division of labor and cooperation is a trend. Currently global auto industry is also moving to China.

Finally China Automobile Association expressed that they would oppose various trade protectionism together with all enterprises to keep fair trade environment.
