China's alumina production keeps increase

£¨China Aluminum Network£©November 2, the latest data from China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association showed alumina was 2,384,500 tons in September, and total alumina production reached 21,894,000 tons from January to September with an increase of 30.69% YoY. Aluminum production was 2,400,400 tons in August.

Compared with electrolytic aluminum, alumina production is expected to rise monthly. Imports of China's alumina was down 22.4% YoY from January to September.  As alumina spot market has been under stocking at the end of the year, there is no the case of  surplus of alumina due to capacity reduction.
