China aluminum output out of expectation

According to the China’s Ministry of Industry, China’s annual output of aluminum in this year would be 16 million tons which is lower than the forecast of 17 million tonnes.

At the same time, the annual output of aluminum in Henan province has been close to 700,000 tonnes furthermore, it is estimated that it would reach 1 million tonnes by the end of this year.

While, it is predicted that the output of aluminum would rise in 2011 as the pressure from power rationing is solved. Meanwhile, China’s current annual output of aluminum is 21.1 million tonnes. The government expects to raise it to 30.5 million tonnes in 2015.
