China not to sell all zinc and aluminium stocks -Official

Reuters reported that China is unlikely to sell all the aluminium and zinc it stockpiled during 2009 in the near future.

Mr Tang Yan an official at The National Development and Reform Commission's industrial department said that the metals were bought for long term planning purposes.

Mr Tang said that the government was preparing to issue guidelines for the aluminium industry.
