    Project "Annual capacity of 150,000 tons of copper cathode" settled in Guiyang

    (China Aluminium Network News)On the morning of Oct.17th, Guiyang government and Hunan Baoshan Nonferrous Metals & Minerals Co.,Ltd signed a frame agreement that Baishan would invest 3.0 billion yuan to establish the first- phase of cathode copper project  in Zilong village, Guiyang county with yearly production of 150,000 tons. It was learned that it would be Guiyang's largest copper smelting project. 


    It was reported that with a total investment capital of 6.4 billion yuan, Baoshan project covers areas of 1,926 square meters and will be completed during two phases, among which 3.0 billion yuan for the first phase, covering an area of 765 square meters. After the first phase, the project will achieve yearly production of 150,000 tons of copper cathode and annual profit of 100 billion yuan and yearly duties of 7 billion yuan. After the completion of second phase, the project can achieve 300,000 tons of copper cathode as well as integrated copper-exploration-mining-extracting-smelting-deep processing industrial chain. It is expected the yearly sales income can reach 28.0 billion yuan and yearly duties 3.5 billion.
