Chalco says shares to be suspended

SHANGHAI July 28 (Reuters) - Trading in shares of Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco) (2600.HK: Quote) (601600.SS: Quote), China's biggest aluminium maker, will be suspended from Wednesday, it said in a filing to the Shanghai stock exchange.

The company said it was discussing important issues, without elaborating, and that trading was expected to resume on Friday. (Reporting by Ruby Lian and Jacqueline Wong, Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
