Output of ten nonferrous metals increased 36.6% YoY from Jan to May

The output of ten nonferrous metal reached 12,740,000 tons from Jan to May this year, with an increase of 36.6% YoY. Among refined copper reached 1,857,000 tons, with an increase of 16.5% YoY; primary aluminium(electrolytic aluminium ) 6890,000 tons, with an increase of 51.4% YoY; Lead 1,443,000 tons, with an increase of 9.4% YoY, Zinc 2,055,000 tons, with an increase of 35.1% YoY.

From Jan to May, calculated by comparable prices, industrial added value of large nonferrous metals enterprises increased 20.9% YoY, and in May was 17.9% YoY, but fall 2.2% compared with April. From Jan to May. Nonferrous metals enterprises achieved profit of 59.528 billion yuan, with an increase of 243.28% YoY.

From Jan to May, nonferrous metals industries( excluding independent golden enterprises, same below) has completed a total fixed assets investment of 103.28 billion yuan, with an increase of 34.2% YoY. Investment on new projects reached 176.27 billion yuan, with an increase of 91.65 YoY. Among nonferrous metal mines completed a fixed assets investment of 20.21 billion yuan, with an increase of 38.6% YoY; Nonferrous metal smelting completed a fixed investment of 42.82 billion yuan, with an increase of 17.6% YoY; Nonferrous metal processing achieved a fixed asset investment of 40.25 billion yuan, with an increase of 55.1% YoY.
