China Customs: Preliminary Figures View on Chinese Copper & Aluminium in June

Preliminary figure from China Customs released on Thursday showed the imports of unwrought copper & copper profile in June reached 328,231tons. From Jan to June ,the total imports was up to 2,231,958 tons, with a total decrease of 0.2% YoY. Copper scrap imports in June was 350,000 tons and the total imports was 2030.000 tons from Jan to june, with a total decrease of 16.9% YoY.

Another data showed the imports of unwrought aluminium & aluminium profile reached 74,582 tons and the total imports was 519,595 tons in the previous six months, with a total decrease of 62.6% YoY; In June alumina imports was 140,000 tons and the total reached 2350,000 tons from Jan to june, with a total decrease of 12.3% YoY. The imports of aluminium scrap in June reached 220,000 tons and the total imports was 1380,000 tons form Jan to June, with a total increase of 58.9% YoY. Chinese exports of unwrought aluminium in June was 70,409 tons and the total exports from Jan to June reached 350,327 tons, with a total increase of 367.5% YoY
