    Chinese alumina output expected up to 14,000,000t till the end of 2010

    From 2209 to 2010, aluminium development trends varies from global regions. Chinese aluminium consumption rise non-stop, while in Europe and North America it slides. As China is walking towards a big country of aluminium consumption gradually, more and more countries begin to pay more attention to our aluminium market.


    It is reported that by 2035 global aluminium demand may reach 68,980 kt, with an increase of 80% compared with 38480kt in 2008. In 2010 global aluminium consumption maybe up to 38,290,000t with an increase of 2.4% till the end of 2010. Chinese annual output of alumina is expected to up to 14,000,000t.


    At present, global bauxite storage is about 23,000,000,000t. Top 6 countries with highest storage are as follows: Australia, Guinea, Brazil, Jamaica, India and Hungary.
