Chinalco (Tsunyi ): 800,000 tons of alumina project put into operation

State Assets Administration Committee(Hereinafter as SASAC) website information: the project of 800,000 tons of alumina from Tsunyi of Aluminum Corporation of China(Chinalco) has put into production. The project boasts an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of bauxite with a total investment of RMB 4780000000 yuan. It is a key item of "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" between Guizhou province and Chinalco. Approved by National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC), the project got started in February, 2008.
