ACH invested on iron mining in West Africa

Hongkong Media reported that west Africa was regarded as the area with the most abundant iron ores in the world, yet not be developed. Recent years global mineral businessmen paid more attention on local mineral resources and strengthen investment on the west Africa, including Aluminum Corporation of China(ACH). The countries which are focused on by mineral businessmen contain Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The investment projects in spotlight are as follows: Australian mining giant Rio Tinto signed an agreement with ACH in March on Guinea iron ore project worth USD 2.9 billion; Liberia signed an agreement with Rio Tinto on iron ore project worth USD 3 billion; Sundance Resource planned to invest USD 3 billion on mining in Cameroon.
