Nippon Light Metal to Set up Automotive Aluminum Processing Plant

Reportedly, at present, Nippon Light Metal Ltd announces that it will set up aluminum material processing plant for automotive components. Extrusion aluminum manufacturer and sales subsidiary Nippon Light Metal (ACT) will be appointed to be the local corporation, which is expected to produce lead rail for automotive skylight following the trend of expanding automotive industry in China.

¡°China-Japan Light Metal (Shanghai)¡± will be established in April 2008 with an investment

of 150,000,000 yen and is equipped with 2 processing lines aimed at annual production of

one million lead rails in 2010. Production lines will be increased to five in 2011.
