China’s electrolytic aluminum productivity will over 23,000,000 tons by the end of 2010

According to relevant statistics, it is expected new added productivity of 4,168,000 tons electrolytic aluminum will be put into use this year. At present, China’s electrolytic aluminum productivity is about 19,000,000 tons, accounting for 42% more or less of global smelting capacity. By the end of 2010, China’s smelting capacity of electrolytic aluminium will be over 23,000,000 tons. The growth speed will be much faster than downstream consumer industry.
As for stock, Shanghai Exchange stock increased to 425,000 tons through 4 and half months from less than 300,000 tons at the beginning of this year. The growth range exceeded 40%. But according to recessive stock, Guangdong had 300,000 tons spot goods, 800,000 tons in East China, 200,000 tons in Northeast area. The total number was over 1,300,000 tons.
