Copper and aluminum demand is strong in China in 2010

With the recovery of world economy, in Q1 China's copper exports and processing materials was 126,000 tons, increased by 40.2% compared with the same period of last year; the exports of aluminum and processing materials was 590,000 tons, increased by 119%.
China’s demand on copper, aluminum and other nonferrous metals was very strong, which once again indicated that our economic growth was real. Mainly due to the stimulus of the real economy. Strong appetite provoked large growth of new resources. All above promoted the big growth of copper, aluminum and such nonferrous metals. According to the speculation of China Commerce Circulation Productivity Promotion Center, in the first quarter of 2010, China’s copper new resource was 3,099,000 tons, increased by 18.1% compared with the same period of last year; while aluminum new resource was 4,420,000 tons, growing by 30.1%.
