Nanshan Aluminum achievements benefit from capacity expansion

Nanshan Aluminium realized 2,025,680,000 yuan of sale income in Q1 in 2010, and the net profit of shareholders belong to Nanshan was 117,570,000 yuan, increased by 94.9% compared with the same period of last year. Earnings of per share was 0.07 yuan, increased by 40% compared with the same period of last year. The company’s achievements were in line with expectation.

At present Nanshan has 720 thousand kilowatts of thermal power, and average number of hours is about 6000 hours. As for alumina, the newly-built alumina productivity of 200,000 tons is expected to be finished in April. The whole productivity of the company will come to 1000,000 tons. At present electrolytic aluminium company has 156,000 tons electrolytic aluminium. With the finish of the capacity of 110,000 tons industry profiles, accompanying ingot capacity will be increased accordingly.
