Northwest Aluminum: Aluminium foil project under progress

Under the support of Chinalco general headquarters and with the joint efforts devoted by subsidiary branch and construction untis, Northwest Aluminium foil project is being promoted .Till now, the installation of 11 imported equipments have been completed; imported equipment has been successfully delivered to installation sites. The installation will be carried out soon.

Since the start of aluminum foil project in March,2008, capital expenditure 74.45855million yuan has been completed. Meanwhile, this project has achieved a lot as per gain national support.

At present, each preparatory work of equipment installation has gone smoothly. Equipment installation and construction personnel, machinery and equipment have been gradually sent to the place. Basic clean-up work has begun. The whole staff of ite subsidiary branch pay more attention and show great support to this project. We firmly believe that with the wise guide and support from Chinalco general headquarters and close coordination of each construction unit, we will successfully finish the equipment installation,,commissioning and trial production. We hope that this can creat conditions for next year’s production and this can secure the realization of upgrading of products structure, specilization and large-scale production.
