Hardware appliances price gains 30% as raw material price rise

As price of copper, aluminium and iron rise, the price of various decoration hardware devices also has increased. Reporters recently has visited building material market and some decoration hardware stores ,learning that the price of hardware appliances with copper and aluminium as raw material rose the most powerfully, gains as high as 30%; the price of hardware devices with iron as raw material doesnt rise so high, remaining at 10%.
It is obvious that it means that citizens will pay more for sprucing up their house. Industry participants said for a new house with an area of 120 square metres, its decoration hardware appliances cost accounts for about 4000RMB, if calculated by middle-class decoration.  After the  increase of price, furniture and fixture cost will rise more than 1000RMB,which doesn’t include aluminium windows and doors,wires and other material. Industry sources expressed that the price  began to rise since the end of last year, but the price was not as high as now.
“In the past, a door handle cost 40 yuan,but now it is over 60yuan”. The Reporter met a consumer who is complaining about the price. It is learned that not only the price of  door handles,locks has risen, but other aluminium alloy windows and doors,etc has risen.
The previous price of aluminium windows and doors was 123RMB per square meter, but now it is up to 170-180RMB.
The price of Lamps and bathroom building material associated with metal is also increasing. At present  the price of lamps and bathroom products at Guangdong market gains 10% generally.
