With increasing production capacity of aluminium plate and strip industry and gradual saturate of products supply, the problem of repeated construction and surplus of production capacity due to blind expansion of some aluminium plate and strip manufacturers is worse and worse, meanwhile the phenomenon of market vicious competiton has appeared. What was more, with the fluctuation of aluminium price, the factory’s price of aluminium plate and strip products is usually lower than cost price, which has led the fact that the operation of some aluminum plate and strip producers entangled into a mess.

In order to avoid low price vicious competition ,maintain normal market order and safeguard the healthy development of aluminium plate and strip industry, there are about 12 manufacturers have established a price union recently.

This union undoubtedly will play an important role in the long-term healthy development of aluminium plate and strip industry, and it has been recognized and supported by most downstream customers. But also some customers couldn’t accept this kind of action of increasing price.
