Chalco agrees to take over Jiangxi Tungsten

According to this agreement, Jiangxi government and China aluminium company will launch all-round strategical cooperation in nonferrous metals field. Both parties will take Jiangwu Holding group Co.,Ltd and its affiliated enterprises as a lead to construct jointly the platform for rare metals; China aluminium company will realize holding Jiangwu through increasing capital,purchasing and project investment. Jiangxi gov supports the cooperation between China aluminium company and the backbone enterprises of Jiangxi nonferrous metals to carry out reform and equity investment. China aluminum company wholly promote and helps Jiangxi rare earth Wu group Co.,Ltd to appear in the market, hoping that Jiangxi will be the rare earth base of China aluminum company and Jiangxi nonferrous metals industry will be bigger and stronger.

Executive vice governor of Jiangxi province, Lingcheng Xin said, Jiangxi will strongly support China aluminum company’development and investment in Jiangxi and its holding of Jiangwu. Using this platform, we firstly will put priority on the integration and deployment of rare and rare earth mineral resources in Jiangxi province. Meanwhile we will support the investment and cooperation of other nonferrous metals resources.

The manager of China aluminiumcompany, Xiongwei Ping stated that China aluminium company and Jiangxi gov cooperated to develop nonferrous metals,which is a great initiative of promoting the internationalization of the company’s strategic transformation. He would promote Jiangxi rare and rare earth industry development in many aspects,including capital,¡¡talented persons,technology,management and finance.
