    Chinese private enterprise acquires IMX Resources

    Jan 4, another Chinese private enterprise acquired an overseas mining firm after the deal of Han-Long Group.


    Sichuan Taifeng Company, a leading comprehensive private group in China acquired the shares of IMX Resources, a small-scale mining company in Australia through its Hong Kong Branch for about 47.1million pataca (289million yuan).


    The Group paid 48.4 Australian cents a share for 19.9% shares of IMX through its Thaifeng Yuan Chuang International Development Branch.


    Later, it will invest an additional 23 million pataca on the CairnHill iron-copper-gold project and other projects of the IMX, which will rewards the group with 50% projects shares.


    According to the data, the IMX Resources is entitled to the exploration and development of several minerals projects. The major business of the companies includes iron and copper.


    "The project is still under pending of the Chinese and Australian Governments." The responsible person of the Group commented.
