Yichuan to build biggest flat-rolled aluminium enterprise

According to a source, The Ding Sheng Group and Yichuan Electric Power Group had signed an agreement to collaborate with each other for setting up the largest scale flat-rolled aluminium enterprise with 600kt/a production capacity in Yichuan. The total investment will reach 6 billion yuan.

The Ding Sheng Group will pick up 70% stake in the total investment of 6 billion yuan while Yichuan Electric Power Group will invest a cash surplus of 30%.

Except for the 1950mm Black Zilai Te continuous casting and rolling production line owned by the Ding Sheng Group, the new enterprise will also bring in another similar production line to ensure an billet production capacity of 800kt/a.

It is estimated that the number of domestic four-roller cold rolling mills will reach 13 sets.
