Chinese copper and aluminum imports rebounded strongly in November due to a spillover in Customs declarations after the week-long national holiday in October.
"Some tonnages were delayed for Customs declarations due to the eight-day-long holiday in early October," a Shanghai analyst said.
Refined copper imports rose to 194,388 tonnes in November, up 15 percent from October and 37 percent year on year, according to Chinese Customs.
Primary aluminum imports recovered to 57,565 tonnes, up 122 percent from October and 796 percent higher year on year. November's imports also...
