    Minmetals' Zhou meets deputy secretary of Hunan province

    Dec 16, the president of Minmetals Group Zhou Zhongshu and pricipal officials of the group received the inspection delegation of Hunan province leaded by the deputy secretary of Provincial Party Committee Mei Kebao. The two parties exchanged opinions on the concerned questions over the cooperation in the metal industry.



    President Zhou welcomed the delegation warmly; he delivered his thanks to the support and trust of the Hunan provincial government, its subordinate organizations, departments as well as the state-owned sectors. He hoped the government of the Hunan province can continue to support the business of the group in its region.


    Mr Mei said:" Hunan province is one of the most important non ferrous metal bases in China, as the pillar industry of the province, non ferrous metal in Hunan are boast of great advantages. Therefore, the government has spared no efforts to develop this industry. "


    "Minmetals Group has worldwide marketing network, we believe the cooperation between the group and the Hunan province will achieve a win-win results."


    President Zhou responsed:" according the Central Economic Work Conference and SASAC of the State Council meeting of heads of central enterprises, the key work of the next year is the layout optimization of the industry structure. The cooperation is in answer to meetings."
