Reportedly, in recent years, Qiaotou Aluminum & Power Co., Ltd. takes measures to increase investment, improve pollution control level, and build project for saving energy and reducing air displacement. Its desulfurization project has already finished previous work, and is currently put into use. In the end of October, the dry ash division system removal project is going to start, and will finish 3 unit desulfurization project in the first stage in 2009. 7# and 8# unit will be closed in the end of 2009. Solid wastes disposal plant with all standardized index has been built and gone into trial operation now.
