Zhou Zhongshu attends working conference of CCBC

Nov 12, the working conference of China - Chile Entrepreneur Committee (referred to as "CCBC") was held in Shanghai. During the meeting, CCBC President of China, CEO Zhou Zhongshu had a discussion with CCBC President of Chile Francisco Silva. Meanwhile, President of Chile Michelle Bachelet attended this meeting and delivered an important speech.

President Zhou and Mr. Silva announced the annual operation of the companies separately. The two parties had a full discussion of on the concerned questions of strengthening the effects of the CCBC platform, and establishing the secretariat liaison mechanism. They agreed that the next working meeting should be hosted in Chile, since 2010 is the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations in Chile, the scale of the meeting should expanded appropriately.

President Zhou indicated that the recovering world economy has provided enterprises with a preferential trading atmosphere and economic base. Both parties should make use of this opportunity for promotion.

Mr. Silva responded with gratitude and he hopes more Chinese enterprises can join the committee; therefore, more cooperation can be achieved.

After the discussion, President of Chile--Michelle Bachelet attended the closing ceremonies. In her speech, She overviewed the long-term good Sino-Chilean bilateral relations, and she affirmed the contribution that the CCBC committed in the economic development of China and Chile.

Executive Vice President of China Council for International Investment Promotion, Zhou Ming, Deputy General Manager of Minmetals Jiao Jian and other related person in charge presented at the meeting.
