CEO of Balco Pramod Suri said that there was no problem existing between his company and China electric equipment manufacturers. He also said, “One Chinese company is constructing 1200MW power plant which is expected to complete in the following 30 months.
Central Electricity Authority recently is almost satisfied with the power plant of 4 135MW electric equipments, but worries about the quality of some parts and equipments. These four electric equipments utilize Chinese technology and have operated for nearly one year.
Suri shows that China has the best technology. China’s Sepco is building power plant in Balco.
CEO of Vedanta Anil Agarwal said that smelting plant project is going to start soon. He is sure that Balco won’t be short of bauxite, but government will certainly hand over bauxite resources of special use to Balco. He thinks Balco will be able to supply enough coal for them soon.
