Chinalco Notes Second EGM

Chinalco announces that the company's board of directors plan to hold the second extraordinary shareholders meeting on Sep 30, 2009.

The meeting will discuss the annual renewal of the related-party transactions(A relation between parties that is held to be sufficiently close and direct to support a legal claim on behalf of or against another person with whom this relation exists), which subject to approval of shareholders and is up to Sep 31,2012.
