Chinalco's Xiong Weiping meets chairman of the HSBC

Nov 6, the president of Chinalco Xiong Weiping met with the chairman of the HSBC Global Banking£¬Robin Phillips and his group members.

During the meeting, the both parties exchange opinions on the concerned questions of current economic situation and development in the mining filed.

Xiong Weiping indicates that the company has set a principled and responsible image for the company during the process of internationalization. The company will stick to the international principle and is willing to establish win-win relationship with the cooperative partner, in order to promote the implementation of the company's new development strategy.

Mr. Robin Phillips responds that, as a leading banking institution, HSBC Global Banking boasts of market value and profits, the company had paid great attention to the Asian and Pacific regions, especially China. He said the more understanding to the company's strategic planning will be beneficial in the process of the cooperation and he was looking forward to cooperate with the company.
