SWA Retorts Quitting Jet Order

Yesterday, Southwest Aluminum Group (SWA) declared that the company will still participant in the C919 Jet project. This is a response to the domestic media reports on “Weak technology, Chinalco loses Jet order to Alcoa".
The company pointed out the aluminum cold rolling technology applied on the jet is of world leading level, which is mastered by a few aluminum industry developed countries, such as United States, Japan, and Germany. While, the ongoing production line of the company has adopted this technology and this is the first high-precision aluminum cold-rolling production line in our country.
It is reported that this production line will put into practice at the end of next year, till then, it will achieve output of 250000tons.
