Chinalco: Aluminium Price or Ups to 15000yuan/ton in Q4

Oct 29, the Executive Director of Chinalco Chen Jihua released that the company plans to cut its capital expenditure by 27%-45% to 6billion-8billion yuan next year from this year's 11billion yuan.

He also predicted that the aluminium price in Q4 will linger between 14000 to 16000yuan, while the alumina price will sway in the range of 2600 to 2900 yuan.

After three consecutive quarters loss, the company posted a net profit of 21.27 million yuan ($3.11 million) versus a profit of 173 million a year ago in Q3, since the slump of the major products.

Chalco was down 2.13 percent earlier, reported 27.34 dollars
