Shanxi Aluminium Company Predicts Loss on Q3

Impacted by the financial crisis, the Shanxi Aluminum Company £¨000831.SZ£©released today the company predicted loss on Q3 and the last three months.

According to the company's post, the net profit of the company from Jan-Sep is -275¡«-285million yuan, while the same statistics of last year is 8.1million yuan. It seems that the company will still be trapped in the loss in Q3, in this quarter, the net profit of the company is -60¡«-65million yuan, which is -38.06million yuan of the same period of last year.

The company analyzes that the main reason for the loss is caused by the influence of the financial crisis. With poor aluminium market, the electrolytic aluminum price plunge to a low level, which leads the company to close part of the production line. Thus the profits were impacted.
