The Trade and Industry Bureau of Wuzhou city takes special inspection towards aluminium profiles market

Oct, 12: The Trade and Industry Bureau of Wuzhou city carried out a special inspection towards the aluminium profiles market. In the inspection, 398.5 kilos of aluminium profiles was identified as the unqualified.

The key inspection programmers included the legitimacy of the suppliers, the related licenses, and the legitimacy of the source of the profiles and the quality of the aluminium profiles.

The inspection is carried strictly according to the GB5237.3-2004 standard, which required at least 1.4mm thickness of the aluminium profile. However, the aluminium profiles of two individual industrial and commercial households on the Xinxin Road was only 0.77-0.84mm thick, this kind of profile will posed serious security risk to the users.

Now, the Trade and Industry Bureau of Wuzhou city has issued investigation of the two companies. At the same time, the Bureau informs that the customers should pay attention to three points when buying the aluminium profiles.

Firstly, the customers should choose some reliable brand.

Secondly, the product name, class limit of harmful substances and other standard should be noted on the contract.

Thirdly, some sample should be saved for evidence to protect the legitimate interest.
