Chalco has awarded the license to explore bauxite mine with overall investment AUD. 3 billion in Australia, including an alumina plant and a bauxite field.
The bauxite mine, located in Cape York closing to Weipa mine, covers an area of 2,189 square meters and is in possession of 0.42 billion reserves.
The mine includes an alumina plant with 2.1 million tons of annually production capacity, a bauxite field with 10,000,000 tons of annually production capacity and infrastructures.
