Tongchuan Aluminium Company Launched 200000 Tons Carbon Element Project

Shanxi Tongchuan Aluminium Company launched its carbon element for aluminium project on Sep 11th. This is a new step that the company took in optimizing the industrial structure and extending the industrial chain.

Shanxi Tongchuan Aluminium Company is a national large-scale enterprises engaged in aluminum smelting. The company combined aluminium production with the power supply and developed an annual production capacity of 250000 tons. the annual output of 120,000 tons of carbon projects aimed at supporting the existing Tongchuan Aluminum electrolytic aluminum production capacity of 250,000 tons annually. The project covered an area of 296 acres and was invested 360 million yuan. It took 18 months to finish the whole project.

At the same time, the project applied advanced and mature technology and equipment, and its major economic and technical indicators have reached the advanced level of similar enterprises. With short investment period, the project was of strong profitability, debt solvency risk-resisting ability as well as an obvious energy-saving effect, which were gifted a certain economic and social benefits. After construction, the products are all for internal use. It is estimated the annual sales revenue is about 3.1 billion yuan and will create more than 2,000 million yuan tax, achieving a profit of 59 million yuan. The implementation of the project can further integrate all aspects of resources, and give full play to all aspects of business potential of the enterprise. It will play an important role in extending the industrial chain and achieving sustainable development.
