China Aluminum Company original aluminum output rise by 84%, alumina rise by 23%

China Aluminum Company announced that the price of international electrolytic aluminum is still high. In mainland, the price of aluminum time bargain in March in the Shanghai Futures Exchange in November last year is up to 24,520, the lowest price is 18,130 Yuan (RMB) / ton, with an average of 20,136 Yuan (RMB) / ton, rise 19.5% year-on-year. The average price of alumina in international spot market is 445 U.S/ton, rise by 20.3% year-on-year. The average annual selling price of domestic alumina is 4,107 Yuan (RMB) / ton, rise by 7.4% year-on-year.

Last year, our company produced 1.93 million tons of primary aluminum, rised by 84% year-on-year. The output of original aluminum rise from the late 05's 1.5 million tons to last year¡¯s 248 million tons, with the output of alumina up to 8.83 million tons last year, rise by 23% year-on-year. The output of chemicals alumina is 1.1 million tons, increase by 17% year-on-year.
