    Minmetals Corporation CEO visits Laos

    Recently, the CEO Zhou Zhongshu and the vice-president Li Fuli of the Minmetals Corporation paid a working visit to Laos.



    During this period, Mr Zhou visited the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and many ministers of Laos. He also attended opening ceremony of the MMG's new company, and inspected Sepon Copper, which is the Major asset of MMG in Laos.President of the Lao-week trip to Laos has received a warm welcome from the central government, local governments, MMG local staff and community residents, while the local media has also given a wide range of positive publicity. This trip strengthened the communication and mutual trust between the group and the Lao government as well as the people, it also creates a favorable external environment for the MMG's future development in Laos.


    Wang Lixin, general manager of Minmetals Nonferrous, deputy general manager XU Jiqing, Jiao Jian, Liu Xiaolei also participated in this visit.
