Dongwei Solar Technologies launched in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone

August 25th, 2009, Chairman of Anhui Dongwei Group Mr. Chen Xuesong and Yao Shuji, the management committee secretary of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone has sighed the investment agreement under the premise of creating more value to the community together. The signing of this agreement marks the official launch of the Group's solar PV project, and it is also the milestone of the group for stepping into the new energy technologies.

The new property of the company is adjacent to the Binghu Xincheng. This land is used to establish the Solar Energy Science and Technology Park of the Dongwei Group, which will cover an area of 200 acres, including overall 130,000 square meters floorage. The new project will mainly produce solar photovoltaic cells, components, manufacture and sale of application systems. The project is invested 4 billion, with an annual output of 50MW solar cells and battery components production; after establishment, it will realize an annual output value of 1.6 billion yuan.

Later, the Dongwei Solar Technologies will cooperate with the Hefei University of Technology.

The realization of the project 'signed by the Group is a big progress; it lays the development direction for the Group.
