    Xiongwei-ping, the general manager of Chinalco met with the Chinese ambassador of Iceland Su Ge.

    August 20TH, Xiongwei-ping, the general manager of Chinalco met with the newly appointed Chinese ambassador, ambassador of Iceland Mr. Su Ge.


    First, Xiongjiangping congratulate the newly-appointment of the ambassador of Iceland then he deflowered his thanks to Mr Su Ge for his visit towards the company. He introduced the developing situation of the company and overseas projects to Mr Su Ge, and communicates with him on the advanced technology of electrolytic aluminum and alumina processing.


    Mr Su Ge indicated that the abundant geothermal and hydropower resources of Iceland could provide a preferential condition for the development of the aluminium industry. As a leading enterprises of the international aluminium industry, the Chinalco may consider making good use of the local energy resources to speed up the “Go out" strategy and promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Iceland.
