Virgin aluminum export of China jumps 67% to 17, 376 tons.

The trade manager of an aluminum smelting plant of Henan Province says great demand supports aluminum price of China and reduces the export, for 15% taxation is charged for export.

Compared with last year, aluminum export drops 81.5% in August and drops 77.9% to 130, 051 tons in the first eight months this year. Virgin aluminum import of China drops 88.9% to 4, 356 tons in August, and drops 68.1% to 73, 464 tons in the first eight months.

Traders indicate that international aluminum price on the low side stimulates manufacturers of Guangdong to import aluminum stock by the means of processing and trade without paying tax.
