Refractory Production Line of Chinalco put into practice

Recently, the super refractory production line of Sanxi Branch of Chinalco was put into practice; this line can produce 10000tons of super refractory every year.

The major raw materials are alumina and gangue. This line not only can make use of large amount of gangue, but also can save about 80% energy, which is in line with energy saving and environmental protection policy. At the same time, the products are of many advantages, such like high-purity, high strength, anti-corrosion and thermal shock resistance. Therefore, they are widely applied in the smelting, glass, ceramics industries. With bright future, the project was honored "The state's key new product projects" by the State Environmental Protection Administration, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, and General Administration of Quality Supervision. 

In recent years, Chinalco respond to the national industrial policies actively. In accordance with the requirements of building of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, the company makes efforts to develop the recycling economy, and promotes the development of the industries which can make comprehensive utilization of the resources.
