Ceramic fiber composite material of aluminum alloy emerges

Recently, the Fuzhou University has invited a new kind of ceramic fiber composite material of aluminum alloy. This kind of material are of small SW, small expansibility, outstanding wear resistance, high temperature strength and excellent antifriction character, therefore, it has a bright application prospect in aerospace and transportation areas.

antifriction character of this new composite material is 200~300 times more than the ZL109 alloy, it can reach 280MPa under the room temperature, and can keeps in 120MPa under 400 centigrade. The linear expansibility is just 40% of the ZL109 alloy.

The new material can be used as a light, wearable, heat-resistant component timber. In addition, it adopts a dust-free operation, which can ensure the health of the operating staff.
