    Qinghai to Form a New Pattern of Non-ferrous Metals Industry

    "The implement of restructuring and revitalization suggestions on the chemical industry in Qinghai Province" is approved by the Qinghai Provincial Government. Recently, seven of the industry development plan, including Non-ferrous metal and salt lake chemical are put into practice. The government plan to speed up the industrial restructuring and the revitalization of industry in the three years, the basic development thought of the plan is “based on resources, open to market and extend the business". In the near future, a new pattern of non-ferrous metals industry which centers on the comprehensive utilization of the advantages and characteristics of mineral resources will be built.


    According to the seven major industrial planning, in the following 3 years, Qinghai Province will focus on the development of the circular economy. The province adheres to the principle of "control amount, eliminate backward production capacity and optimize the layout of the city". Gradually, it will form a high-tech and multi-species pattern of non-ferrous metals industry which based on the smelting and further processing of the aluminum, copper, lead, zinc and other metals.
