Second Notice on Chinalco's Provisional Shareholders Meeting

The  Board of Directors of  Chinalco decided to hold the first provisional shareholders meeting in 2009 on August 24, 2009 10:30 am, followed by the second provisional shareholders meeting of A-shares and H shares, the meeting vote will be combined with vote at the scene and vote on the Internet. A shareholders can vote through the trading system of Shanghai Stock Exchange, the network polling hours for the day is 9:30-11:30,13:00-15:00, the vote is mainly about the program of the non-public offering of company's A shares. 

The network code to vote for the shareholders is "788600"; and the vote can be referred to as "Chinalco vote" for short.
