Minmetals Group ranged 6 in the annual performance assessment of central enterprises in 2008

On the central enterprises summits meeting, which ended on July 23rd, the SASAC of the State Council announced the 2008 annual performance evaluation results of the central enterprises. Minmetals Corporation has once again been rated as A-class enterprises, and it is also the third time for Minmetals Group to enter the A-list. But, in this year, the rank of Minmetals Group is pushed forward to six from that of 20 in 2007. It is the best score obtained by the company.

There are totally 145 central enterprises take this evaluation, and 32 of them was awarded the A-level enterprises, accounting for 22.07%.
