Alumina technology reform of Yixiang Aluminium to go into production in August

Recently, the alumina technology reform of Yixiang Aluminium, which is listed as the key project of the city is under the equipment installation commissioning. the project is located in alumina industry cluster, Zhang village, Shenchi Town, and is invested and established by the Hong Kong Beiyuan Co., Ltd. Yimei Group.
The total investment of the project is 1.7 billion yuan, and the expected annual alumina production capacity is 600,000 tons. After the accomplishment of the project, the consumption of the alumina sand and gravel will be reduced to 1.9 tons from the 2.3 tons, saving 70 thousand tons of coal annually. Up till now, the investment of the project has reached 1.5billion, and 90% of the total project has been finished. The project is expected to put into operation in August this year.
