Yunnan Copper Industry Group will participate in building Peru Copper Mine invested by Chinalco.

After the joint venture of Chinalco and Yuannan Copper Group, Peru Copper Mine is continuously invested by Chinalco. At present, Yunnan Copper Group has industries in almost seven countries.

CEO of Yunnan Copper Group Zou Shaolu says, China is short of copper, most of which is imported from oversea market. In order to avoid the fluctuation of copper price, we have to increase copper supply. The company used to focuse on smelting, and its copper concentrate mine output increases to 400,000-50,000 tons from 100,000 tons, greatly strengthening the capability to resist risk of copper price fluctuation. In the next few years, the annual sales income will reach over 100 billion yuan.
