Chinalco inks strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Bank on 30bln yuan credit

Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco) on July 1 signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Bank, a joint stock commercial bank.

According to the agreement, Beijing Bank will offer the largest nonferrous metal enterprise in China 30bln yuan of credits and go all out to support the company to implement the strategy of acquiring metal resource abroad, consolidating domestic resources and stepping up exploring global business.

Chinalco, the parent company of listed Chalco, and is the world's second largest alumina producer and third largest electrolytic aluminum producer.
