Pingguo alumina passed another world's first technology development projects

Recently, Aluminum Company of China Ministry of Science and Technology organized the project acceptance conference "the technology of dealing with iron-bearing mineral removal and red mud in the production" in Guangxi Aluminum Branch. The world's first invited test item£¬which use Magnetic separation technology and high temperature Bayer Process to carry out red mud iron selected projects, has pass the  acceptance check of the Expert Group.

The project adopts the Magnetic separation technology developed by the Guangzhou non-ferrous metals Institute. Then selects iron and steel smelting iron ore from the red mud, which is one of the alumina production wastes. It is the world's first invited test item£¬which use Magnetic separation technology and high temperature Bayer Process to carry out red mud iron selected circular economy projects. These projects achieved good economic and environmental benefits, and provide an effective solution to the storage problems of the huge number of red mud, which is the waste of the alumina production. Thus solve the environmental pressure.

The experts take a comprehensive assessment towards the projects by hearing the on-site inspection report. The experts believes that: The project adopts the new magnetic separation technology to complete the research, technology economical assessment has met the requirements of indicators, and it has provided the further realization of industrialization with technical support. The experts also give suggestions on the project-related technical processes.
