    the 100m2 new type red mud rotary drum filter, which is designed and developed by the Shandong Branch of China Aluminum has pass the technical evaluation of Experts on China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association in Beijing a few days ago. The results of the identification show that the chnical characteristics of the products have reached the international advanced level. it fills the blank of domestic large-scale, automated filter.


    The 100m2 new type red mud rotary drum filter is the key science and technology item of Aluminum Company of China the focus of science and technology. Compared with the same type of filter in abroad, the newly developed filter are more reasonable in structure, more advanced in targets, and it also possess the advantages of low fluid filter cake, high output, low energy consumption and convenient in  maintenance and clean-up. In June 2008, the first 100m2 new type red mud rotary drum filter ran a formal vote in the alumina plant in Shandong branch, the results showed that the combination property of the equipment reached the international advanced level of similar equipment; it was endowed with very significant economic benefits. At the same time, it also marks the design and manufacture of the filters in Hengcheng engineering works has met international advanced level.
